Esperanza

Sorry this is so overdue, a LOT has been going on. We had a fantastic Christmas (I will get some pictures up hopefully sometime in the next week). But, as most of you already know, we lost our little Esperanza. At around 1 PM on Monday, January 6th our worlds were turned upside down. But, I believe without a doubt that this is Gods will. Esperanza can now see, she can run and laugh, she can dance and sing. She is in the arms of her loving maker. Shes is by far happier now than she ever was with us. This is very hard for her, but to honor her joy, I want to show you just a few of the happy moments with her. This is in honor of the time we DID get to spent with her.

We did every thing with little Esperanza...

We read....

We played...

We celebrated her 6 month birthday....

We watched the world Series...

Even though our Cubs didn't make it...

We went to the zoo...

We introduced her to our friends...

We celebrated Christmas...

We opened presents....

We decorated cupcakes....

We ate pizza...

We took naps....

We watched TV...

The other kids loved her too...

She was our beautiful little girl...

You are greatly missed, Esperanza.

Our crazy, fantastic life

Life sure has been crazy over the past few weeks... here is a picture blog to update everyone :)

On October 16 Bryan joined our family. He is 10 and has learning disabilities.

We love taking family walks :)

Christian turned 4 on October 20th

Thania (13 years old) and Angelita (7) joined our family on October 23. Both girls have Cerebral Palsy.

Rafael had his 8th birthday on October 24th.

Thania LOVES cake

Our very full dinner table.

Breakfast in the highchair corner.

The girls in their new beds.

The Fulp family (and our friend, Lisa) joined up with Krishauna and her "family" from Casa Bernabe (13 boys, the house parents, house helper, and an additional helper) for a trip to the zoo.
This picture is Krishauna introducing some of them to Esperanza.

We stuck with the buddy system.

Look how thrilled they are to be my buddies.

A few of the boys watching the monkeys

For lunch, Dominos gave us a fantastic deal on pizza.... Thank you Dominos!!!!

The group eating.

The kids (especially the boys) LOVED the penguins.

The whole gang.

The world series.... Red Sox won!!!!! Wooo-whoooo!!!!
This is the real way to watch a game... eating, feeding Christian, and soothing Esperanza.

Fun time "swimming" with Thania.

And I have some big news (it might not seem like big news to you guys, but believe me it is) but twice in the past week or so, Christian has held his cup at his mouth for about 30 sec. (that is huge because he seems to not understand the concept of movements that he does and its affect on things around him.)

So, thats about it. Our life is mighty crazy, but I wouldn't change it. So, this is a very big hello from the ever-growing Fulp family :)
